What's all the buzz about?

There's a lot of buzz going on in the world about so many things.  Politics, gas prices, social networking, blogging, yadee, yadee, yada.  Politics make people angry, as so do current gas prices.  Seriously, it should NEVER cost $60 to fill up a Honda Accord, Never!  Social networking and blogging draw interest and hopefully make people smile.  I enjoy seeing others smile, so this is my attempt at blogging.

I first gained an interest in blogging a few years ago when the movie Julie and Julia came out.  If you haven't seen the movie, you should check it out.  Basically, a young woman (Julie) challenges herself to "whip up" 524 of Julia Child's recipes in 365 days and blog about them.  Along this journey, Julie manages to revitalize her marriage, restore her ambition and save her soul.  Though my blog will probably not do any of the three things mentioned above, it may however keep you entertained (and yearning for more).

So how about the "buzz" in my life....the May Buzz, hence the blog title...what's it all about?

Currently, and for the last year, my life has been contained and consumed by the light of my life.  Now I'm not talking about Jesus here (although HE is the light of the world, and if you don't know who HE is, you should find out), I'm referring to Little Miss Karsyn Leigh May.  She truly is a gift from God and we thank HIM for her everyday.

Around this time last year, Karsyn was created...I won't go into details, but you get the point.  So from March 2011 to November 30, 2011, Karsyn was growing inside of me and transformed from a grain of rice, to a little lima bean, to a peanut, to a chicken nugget, to an alien-like form with limbs, and finally on December 1, 2011 at 4:06pm, my 6lb. 13oz. bundle of joy "popped" out.  In my mind I would like to think she smoothly glided out to greet the world, but in reality it was more like a fiery rocket and felt like a derailed freight train!  LOL.  Aside from the pain, I had just given birth to the most-beautiful thing I have ever seen, and witnessed a true miracle.  Justin and I were awestruck.  How could a baby be THAT beautiful?  Karsyn is a prime example of God's perfection.  If you look up "perfect" in the dictionary (in my dictionary at least), below is what you will see.  Yes, that's me in the picture, and yes, I am topless.

 Perfect.

So stay tuned and see what the latest "buzz" is with The May Family...Karsyn especially.  Thanks for stopping by.
