Knock, knock, who's there?

I didn't hear anything...did you?
Sweet Karsyn will be 4 months old on Sunday.  I can't believe it!  Life is just flying by.  She is growing and changing all the time.  Each day with her is such a blessing, but Lord, where is the pause button?

Having Karsyn around is a real 'gas', both figuratively and literally.  Let's face it, the girl can break some wind!  I'm gonna pass the buck and say she picked up this trait from her father.  (wink, wink)
However, did you know that it is perfectly healthy to fart 12-15 times per day?  We all want to be healthy, don't we?

Justin and I can't help but giggle every time she does it.  It's just so cute!  The fact that it doesn't phase her makes it even cuter.  Yes, I think baby flatulence is cute.  I try to watch what I eat, but regardless, she still has gas, so I guess it's hereditary.

During one of our late nights, I was watching a talk show on the BBC and Puff Daddy (Sean Puffy Combs) was one of the guests.  He and the host were talking about embarrassing moments and somehow this topic led to farting in front of your spouse/lover.  Puffy said, "If my woman can't fart in front of me, then I don't want to be with her -- Cause if she hides that, there ain't no telling what else she's hiding from me!"  If you think about it, it's well said (despite the grammar).
Karsyn doesn't hide it, so I guess we're raising her to be honest.  Good girl.

I am lucky to have my Mom and Sister, Jill watch Karsyn for me while I'm at work.  Jill gives me a daily play-by-play of what goes on so I don't feel left out.  The other day she told me a funny story about Karsyn.....and her gas.
Here's the scenario:
Jill had Karsyn in the kitchen, sitting at the kitchen table.  Karsyn was sitting on the table, and Jill was sitting in the chair, facing her with her hands around Karsyn's waist.  Mama was in another part of the house, either in the living room, or in one of the bedrooms.  Karsyn starts pooting.  I guess the sound of it against the table made a knock, knock, knock noise.  Jill just sat there because it was nothing out of the ordinary.  The next thing she knew, Mama swiftly came in to the kitchen from wherever she was and said, "Who's that knocking at the door?"

She seriously thought someone was at the door.  Seriously.
